Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is an action adventure game developed as the sixth installment of the Assassin’s Creed series. The game features Edward Kenway (Matt Ryan) as the main character. He is a former Welsh privateer who became a pirate and then a member of the Assassin order. He is the grandfather and father of the playable characters in Assassin’s Creed III, Connor, and Haytham Kenway. As with other games in the series, the game is a story is in two connected halves. One of them is in a historic setting and the other one is in modern-day life. It is played from the perspective of a third party.
There are three main cities; Kingston, Havana, and Nassau. They are under the British, Spanish, and pirate influence. Other smaller locations also form part of the storyline. Players have plenty of locations where they can go exploring. They include; sugar plantations, Mayan ruins, and shipwrecks below the water surface. Exploration is more on land than in water. The open-world feel goes on all through the game. It shares the same hunting system as its predecessor Assassin’s Creed III.
It, however, introduces a few new features. The Jackdraw is one of them. It is a ship and you are its captain. You can easily get to it when you need to use it. Players can upgrade their Jackdraw as they please.
The spyglass is another added feature. It makes it possible for you to monitor other ships from a distance when underwater. You can detect the size of their cargo and their strength. You can use the spyglass to tell whether or not an island has treasures and animals to hunt.
